Beautiful snow showers. Rarely seen in Belgium. And oh so beautiful!!

Every snowflake is unique, they used to say.

But science has already refuted this today. The uniqueness lies in the fact that the personal journey that it undertakes determines its appearance upon landing.

There is something poetic about that. And even philosophical. A snowflake tells us more about itself than you might think.

Aanhoudende sneeuw.  Zelden gezien in België.  En oh, zo prachtig !!

Er bestaan geen twee dezelfde sneeuwvlokken, wordt er soms gezegd.

Maar ondertussen heeft de wetenschap dit al weerlegd.  Wat er wel van waar is, is dat de persoonlijke reis die een sneeuwvlok aflegt, zijn uiterlijk bij de landing bepaalt.

Dat is toch poëtisch. En zelfs ook filosofisch van aard. Een sneeuwvlok vertelt ons meer dan je denkt.
